Ever had a game where you felt so angry and embarrassed about how you played? I remember I would want the ground to swallow me whole after some tennis matches where I felt like a complete failure for some of the shots I missed. It's tough to have a bad game - but the reality is, ALL athletes have them. Even the best.

That's not what matters - what matters most is how you respond to those mistakes and failures and how quickly you're able to get back on track so you don't let one bad game derail you for the rest of the season. This is a skill of on it's own and one that Nate Gladdin, is awesome at teaching after nearly 20 years of coaching sports! So join him for this special episode where he shares his best tips and practices to help you perform at your best but also how to use your ''bad games'' as springboard for improving your skills and resilience on and off the field. Because what will impress your coach most isn't always playing perfectly, but how you use your poor games to progress your skills and fulfill your potential as an athlete and team player!

What CAN I do? Allian Me Yo It has been quite a while now with Covid19. I don’t have much to do since I stay at home and wander my house. Now I do. Here you can get quick tips, a uplifting poem, and a little motivation to keep you through the “now”This is okay for ALL viewers! What A Word Symone Talks I am Symone D, Founder and CEO of “SymoneTalks,” an organization I began as a woman who suffered in my childhood from depression, along with suicidal thoughts and ideation. I felt bound by such feelings, but once I got over the hurdles and began being comfortable talking about it, I began providing myself and others permission to be vulnerable and transparent about not being okay and provide therapeutic healing through talking.Once I was comfortable talking about it, I struggled to find a space where women could come and simply “check-in”.Now as a mental health advocate I created the space What You Don't Know Yet What You Don't Know Yet You are not a great teacher. There’s some time wasted. You probably don’t feel like yourself and it’s exhausting.Yet, there will be a day when you will be a capable teacher with a toolbox of skills that you’ll be able to competently employ in a multitude of situations. There will be a time when people will look to you as an expert in the field of education. It hasn’t happened yet, but it will. This podcast is meant to help you find your way during those first few years of teaching. We’ll talk with experienced teachers to find practical ways for you to tackle the early part of your teaching career. We’ll give you some inspiration to keep you going. We’ll make it okay to make a few mistakes so that you can learn from them and become the teacher you want to be.Because you’re not a great teacher. YET. PodKat Kat Williamson Had a rough day? Derek Hawkins, future king of Wakanda, is coming in with his snuggie and your favorite blanket. John Lovell, tall and awkward as ever, is just now lighting a warm fire. Okay, none of that is really happening. BUT that is what it's going to feel like when you come listen to the PodKat: straight chilling with your homies. Come talk with us about life, relationships, working, and ministry. Enjoy a few laughs, maybe even a few tears, and we will all grow together as people. Hopefully.
