How to Work with Your Triggers During Venus Retrograde

from Create with Elyse · host Elyse-Anne

10: Venus is in retrograde from 5th - 31st October 2018. Retrograde means that the planet is spinning backwards. And since all of us are connected in the cosmos, you don't need to be a rocket scientist to know that when something is against the flow, disruption happens. Maybe people get into panic attacks and they're so afraid during retrograde season. I used to be afraid but not anymore. I've come to love it because it's really detox season. If you're ready to see the truth and clear the cobwebs in your closet, then you'll definitely fall in love with peeling off the layers and get to your true self. This is a good time to practice what I've learnt. First, I stopped judging myself for being triggered. Then, I asked myself. Do I want to be right or happy? (From the teachings in A Course in Miracles) Last but not the least, I allowed myself to feel the energy and then let the energy leave my body. Once I was clear in my head, I took deep breathes and meditated to ground myself. As a more conscious being now, I realised that is just my old identity which I no longer have to operate out of. The need to be right comes from a place of not feeling good enough. The need to prove and to be seen. And only the ego needs to be seen and heard and only the ego can be hurt. The soul cannot be hurt so ground yourself and know that nothing can hurt and harm you. Detach from the story and expand your energy. I find that when I expand my energy consciously, I'm reconnect myself to the "Bigness" of the Universe. Your triggers are here to show you what you need to release. Don't run away or be afraid. simply be the observer. Love your triggers for it's here to unlock the next level and present you with more gifts. This is a great time to remember who you truly are.
