from Love Shack Live: Helping Couples Rescue Their Relationships

Send us Fan MailEmotional intelligence is probably a term you've heard many times, but have you ever stopped to think about how much it affects your relationships? The truth is, most of us are much more comfortable talking about the physical aspects of life, rather than the emotional stuff. But, that's not because we aren't capable of it, it's just because we've never been taught how. Gaining an understanding of our emotional intelligence is an imperative (and often neglected) part of building healthy, loving relationships. If you and your partner: continually have the same recurring arguments; get stuck obsessing about the details of what happened instead moving forward in your conversations; and/or are unable to come together to find solutions that actually improve your relationship... ...then it's probably time to upgrade your emotional intelligence toolbox. Join Tom & me this week in the Love Shack where will share exactly what you need to do to start taking care of your emotional well-being and feeling better, so that you can show up better.Have questions about love and relationships? Managing Next Generation Energy Systems Cambridge University Background Stakeholders working with energy systems have to make complex decisions formulated from risk-based assessments about the future. The move towards more renewables in our energy systems complicates matters even further, requiring the development of an integrated power grid and continuous and steady transformation of the UK power system. Network flows must be managed reliably under uncertain demands, uncertain supply, emerging network technologies and possible failures and, further, prices in related markets can be highly volatile. Mathematicians working with engineers and economists, can make significant contributions to address such issues, by helping to develop fit-for-purpose models for next generation energy systems. These interdisciplinary approaches are looking to address a range of associated problems, including modelling, prediction, simulation, control, market and mechanism design and optimisation.
