He ended up selling an earlier screenplay "I Know What You Did Last Summer". Columbia Pictures cast a bunch of the hottest young stars of the time to make this a box office hit. Leading the cast is Jennifer Love Hewitt, Freddie Prinze Jr., Ryan Phillippe, and Sarah Michelle Gellar.
