"I Pray I Don't Get Hurt on My New Dirt Bike." (Family Rosary Across America)

from The Best of the Week · host Relevant Radio

Fr. Rocky just got back from Los Angeles for the final Mass of the 3-year Eucharistic Revival. And get this: standing room only! Catholics showed up. 🙌🔥   He’s also excited about the octave of Corpus Christi and talks to co-host Maggie about all of the solemnities that land this week.:   -Corpus Christi (this past Sunday the 22nd)   -Nativity of St. John the Baptist (this past Tuesday the 24th)   -Sacred Heart of Jesus ❤️‍🔥 (Friday the 27th)   -Sts. Peter & Paul (Sunday the 29th)   -Plus, St. Josemaria Escriva on Thursday the 26th!     📞 Cyrus from Minnesota 🏍️   11-year-old Cyrus from MN calls in with a prayer request that's so pure it might just make your heart explode a little.   Cyrus and his brothers just got a new Kawasaki KLX 140RL dirt bike 🏍️ They want prayers not to crash it. (A very reasonable concern.)    Father Rocky's immediate response:   “Promise me: always wear a helmet. Say your guardian angel prayer. 😇 And no jumps over 2 feet. I ended up in the hospital at your age!”   Cyrus has one more prayer request: for his mom’s friend Zeke, even though he's not sure what is wrong. He just wants to pray. ❤️     Guardian angels are real, and they probably work overtime with 11-year-olds.     📍BTW... If you're anywhere near Indiana this weekend, Fr. Rocky has big plans on Saturday the 28th: Mass, Rosary, drone show, fireworks at the Shrine of Christ's Passion. 🎆😎
