INFPs in Leadership | Traits to Embrace to Lead Authentically and Effectively

from Geek Psychology: Play Life Better

Send me a textI'm going to give you three expert tips for all the INFPs out there who are struggling to find their place as leaders. As introverts, INFPs tend to shy away from the spotlight, but sometimes life calls for them to step up and assert themselves. In this video, I provide advice on how to embrace your strengths and weaknesses, set clear boundaries, and work on improving skills like delegation and decision-making. It's all about finding the perfect balance between leading with your heart and making logical decisions. So sit back, grab a cup of tea, and let's dive into the world of INFP leadership. Remember, as an INFP, you have the ability to inspire others and make them feel listened to because you truly are listening to them. And giving emotional space for others to explore themselves is key. Tip number one: embrace your strengths. As an INFP, you have a solid stuckness for good or bad that you're probably going to latch onto. And that can be a very good thing! It's like the bat signal, right? Everybody just rallies around this. This is the heroic sign that is important to us. Tip number two: set clear boundaries. As Feelers, we tend to be people pleasers and won't assert our boundaries strong enough sometimes. But setting clear boundaries can avoid problems down the line. Tip number three: work on your weaknesses. Specifically, introverted sensing and extraverted thinking. It's all about putting more time and focus into those areas to create a system that will allow it to happen more naturally. So there you have it, three expert tips for all the INFPs out there who are looking to step into leadership roles.
