In days gone by, in societies that were more united and concerned with survival, people of all ages and genders were encouraged to be the best that they can be, so their contributions to the society made a major difference to the level of survival achieved. Each person counted. Each person mattered. Each person was either an asset or a liability. The number of people/members in these societies was low, as per today's terms. Alas, today we are many more. Today, our societies are so large that we hardly know each other. That is not to say that we have changed the most important fundamentals namely, each person is response-able for themselves. Each person has the power of choice and Free Will therefore, you have to make your own choices while thinking of your highest good and the highest good of all. Think how wonderful it could be if all the members of our societies will be happy, will feel powerful, because they would know that they stand tall, and no one can belittle or control them. L
