Irvin Throws a Clunker Going into the Break

The Nats lost 9-3 in Milwaukee on Sunday for their final game headed into the All-Star break. Mark (From American Family Field) & Al examine Jake Irvin's second consecutive bad start. Irvin threw a shutout on July 4th, but has not pitched well since being snubbed for the All-Star Game. Irvin only lasted four innings and allowed six earned runs in the process.(13:00) Eduardo Salazar was impressive in his first outing from the Nationals 'Pen. Will he take over Hunter Harvey's spot for the rest of the season?(17:00) Juan Yepez was the only member of the lineup with multiple hits and also swiped a bag. Al poses the question - is Meneses' replacement the next Meneses? Yepez has a ten game hitting streak since coming from AAA-Rochester.(20:00) James Wood had a RBI single in the loss. Wood only has two extra base hits since being called up and they came in the same game, which was a rout of the Cardinals.(25:00) There is expected to be an update this week on Josiah Gray. He has been shutdown ever since experiencing elbow discomfort.
