Welcome all to IS PHARMACOLOGY DIFFICULT Podcast! I am Dr Radhika Vijay. Firstly its my great pleasure to wish all a very "HAPPY TEACHER'S DAY". Its a great day and yes I am here with a great discussion topic i.e. Enzyme Inhibition. First of all I will define as a ritual, then with no delay I will discuss its two main types, namely Competitive and Non Competitive Enzyme Inhibition. I will discuss their main features or characteristics, the basic mechanism and yes never to miss, never to forget the wonderful examples! For your utter knowledge, i want to state that Competitive Enzyme inhibition is again of two different kinds, namely Equilibrium and Non equilibrium type and they have their own properties, you need to know them all! The status of Km and Vmax changes for all types and thats worth noticing and remembering, in the end with glory and hail to all preachers and teachers, I will be winding and ending for the great fun filled Sunday!
