Is Religion Used as a Tool of Control?

People from all different walks of life search for purpose and guidance.  Some through faith and others who don't subscribe to the "normal" paths that society convinces us, find other sources to in which to live their lives.  No matter what higher power you believe in or if you don't believe at all, there is a question of uncertainty when it comes to religion.  Most say that religion is man made, while others will suggest that it was written and collected by a higher power.  Which ever is the case, we're trying to figure out is it just being used as a tool to control the masses.  What do YOU think?  After you listen, we'd love to have your opinion, so PLEASE comment below.  Good or bad...LET US HAVE IT!!
