SYNOPSIS:This classic episode, very popular with Moonlighting fans, is an homage to the movie It’s a Wonderful Life, made in 1946 and starring Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed. In the movie, an angel is sent down from heaven to show a frustrated businessman what life would have been like if he never existed.Maddie is forced to make her employees work over Christmas due to one of their client’s court cases being moved up to December 28. While sitting in a bar, she meets a man. Unbeknown to her, this man is an angel sent down from heaven to show her what life would be like without her.The angel begins to take her to see people and places she knows, showing her what paths they took and how successful they are because Maddie never existed. Maddie now wants her agency back, now that she has seen the life of her friends without her.
