Are you living or are you dying? It's either one or the other as today's guest will share. There is no stagnation. Today, I sit down with a cacao keeper, an energy intuitive healer, and a reiki master teacher. She is a love ambassador coming from an unbroken lineage of curanderismo. I welcome my dear friend, Jacky. She joins us from West Texas, the land of "bigger and better" to discuss consumerism, the medicine of cacao, her experience as a child of immigrants, and why she calls herself an energy doula. Today's conversation is full of insight and light. It's a taste of the spiritual medicine she offers her students.

We're exploring:

  • How cacao helped Jacky to connect to herself, reclaim her family's roots, and exist just as she is
  • Consumption and competition: an invitation to leave both behind
  • What being a child of immigrants has taught her and the medicine it holds
  • Jacky's experience leaving the evangelical church and how being a prayer warrior fits into her spiritual journey now
  • The energy required in both birth and dying, plus a helpful illustration in letting go
  • And much more
