John Adams Jr. Year 2 Part 2

from Better than Washington · host Duncan Harrison

Some notes about the quality of this episode: I did my best to eliminate it, but you may still hear some background noise throughout the episode. Sorry about that! I make an allusion to the American occupation of Iraq and mistakenly claim that the occupation ended in 2015. While I was thinking about the surge of troops President Obama sent in 2014 (and that phase ended in 2017), the simple truth is that the United States never left Iraq. US troops are still in Iraq! In this episode of Better than Washington, we resume our discussion of John Adams Jr.'s 2nd year as President of the United States. And we mostly talk about how his choices helped the United States fight a naval conflict that was kind of a war but not really a war. Almost like, a "quasi"...battle...thing... The song used is "Americana" by Mr. Smith. There will always be frank discussions of slavery, Native American genocide, and other upsetting events.

Some are humorous in intent, some merely in retrospect, some are just here because Wavlake doesn't have a "Random influences" category for albums and everyone's humour is different anyway! The subheading "Novelty" is probably a better fit as most of these songs you will only want to hear once! ;) Oh, all songs in this album were made using Udio.
