John F. Kennedy Speech, June 6, 1962
from Public Access America · host Public Access America
Commencement Address at Yale University. New Haven, CT.Amazing finish to this speech. The last 10 minutes or so of this speech are a defining moment in JFK's Presidency. He lays out the need for America to develop an activist government and economy. The exact opposite of what he lays out in this speech happens after his death. This was a throw down to the Corporate/ Business community that the New Deal was not a thing of the past, but was going to be an active part of our nation's future...if he had anything to say about it. Let's Ditch This And Grab A Beer.."This speech to Yale graduates was done when JFK got a (presumably) honorary degree from Yale, even though he was a Harvard Man. JFK makes light of this for the first few minutes but then latches down on the topic at hand, how to improve the Economy. It's actually pretty boring, and not one of JFK's worthy efforts. He ends the speech by doing something I noticed he did quite frequently. Just leaving the podium with out saying thank you or anything lolSource linkhttps://archive.org/details/jfks19620611Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
