Inside Out
Jazmyne Harmon, Lyric Thomas
This podcast episode is our final multimedia project for Gender Race and Class. We talk about various theories that we’ve learned over the course and how they impact us as multiracial individuals, especially because labeling can mean that our identities are more complex than they appear at first glance and we’re dissecting different ideas–hence ‘inside out’. Our readings reference this theme because they show how discrepancies in views of different people and bias play a role in how they are perceived. We are attempting to analyze these perceptions from an intersectional lens and break them down to analyze why it occurred.
