Kenny Lofton was drafted by and came up with the Houston Astros after a University of Arizona career in which he'd recorded just a single at-bat. His career would flourish after getting traded to the Cleveland Indians, where he earned five All-Star selections, three Gold Glove Awards, and an American League pennant.
