Está dirigida por David Solar y es publicada por la empresa Arlanza Ediciones de Madrid, perteneciente al grupo Unidad Editorial (propiedad del grupo italiano de comunicación RCS MediaGroup), editora del diario El Mundo. Nació en 1997 con un equipo muy similar al de Historia 16". Aquél es el título. Valga decir que de las muchas habidas, esta colección de refiere a la de 1936-39. Consta de 13 capítulos, de unos 45' cada uno
