This is very foundational to our moving forward. If we are heavy laden, bogged down with the weight and cares of the world, we can’t run the race that He has for us. I preached a message called ‘Beauty for Ashes’. This is such a beautiful picture for us to trade our ashes of sorrow and mourning and instead receive beauty from the Lord. Matthew 11:28 “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”The invitation is given. We are invited to come. To come to Him means to trust Him.
