The night before Jesus was crucified, he celebrated the Passover dinner with his friends. No doubt replete with lamb and herbs, unleavened bread and wine, Jesus gave new meaning to each of the elements. This meal would never be the same. At that meal, he issued a "new commandment"... to LOVE one another. It is the summation of the law and the prophets and our invitation to this day. Steep with me in the words of Jesus on his final night of life. And prepare with me for the dreadfully beautiful day to come....--- Visit jamiesoncoaching.com for spiritual formation cohorts, coaching and resources.
