A new mission begins behind bars. A group of inmates at The Vault, a high-security prison for the world’s most dangerous powered individuals, find themselves in trouble just as breaking news interrupts everything—alien ships are crashing into New York City. Within hours, reports confirm it isn’t isolated. Ships are falling across the globe. Seventy-two hours later, the Warden summons them with an offer that isn’t really an offer: they’re being deployed to investigate a second crash in a remote Antarctic region known as the Savage Land. Once there, the team discovers a massive fallen vessel unlike anything Earth has seen. Inside, they uncover evidence of alien species collected from across the universe and encounter a surviving synthetic who reveals a deeper truth: this crash was intentional, tied to something ancient buried beneath the Savage Land —the Engineer Seed. They learn of the xenomorphs, a deadly adaptive species now loose in the jungle, and of SYNTH-IX, the architect behind the crash and guardian of a cosmic test. The stakes become clear. The Engineer Seed has the power to reshape—or end—life on Earth if claimed by the wrong hands.
