Ali and Grainne Clarke lost their dad Frank to suicide almost 20 years ago, aged just 9 and 12. They both shared what they remember about that difficult time, and the impact the bereavement has had on each of their lives.Our losing a parent to suicide series is supported by the Rosalynn Carter Fellowship for Mental Health Journalism in Ireland, in partnership with Shine. and produced by our Senior producer and one of this years fellows Claire Darmody.
