What we do is we take a trailer for a movie yet to be released. Watch the trailer, and develop an impression of what we think the finished film will resemble when released. Disclaimer: We haven't seen the movie, so it will basically be informed, mostly spoiler free, guessing. The tone that we try to strike is "since we don't know if the movie will be good or bad, here are two movies that we can recommend you watch which we know are good". And we are not advocating staying away from the movie. Maybe you want to watch these movies to get a sense of the genre, maybe you want to get fired up for the midnight screening, maybe the lines are too long and you want to stay in; here are two films (and trust us they are good) that you can watch right at home in the interim.
