1 Jesus our Saviour, of true joy the giver, Alpha and Omega, lo He is here! Mighty Creator, and strong to deliver, God and yet man, He to us draweth near Christians, proclaim Him, the same now and ever: Jesus our Saviour, of true joy the giver. 2 Jesus our Saviour as King ever reigneth; Sing of His mercy, and praise ye His might. Loving and gracious, to seek you He deigneth; Open your hearts to your Lord with delight. Guarding, upholding, His own He sustaineth: Jesus our Saviour as King ever reigneth. 3 Jesus our Saviour is come, death to suffer; Sins of the world as the Lamb He must bear. Dying for sinners, in grace He can offer Pardon and peace for all mankind to share. Love beyond telling, what gifts dost thou proffer! Jesus our Saviour is come, death to suffer. 4 Jesus our Saviour is come, grace bestowing Coming in mercy each longing to still. Life-giving waters for all are now flowing: Come, ye who thirst; come and drink, ye who will. Wondrous the mercy and love He is showing: Jesus our Saviour is come, grace bestowing. 5 Jesus, our Saviour is Lord now and ever: Hasten, ye nations, to own Him in faith; Throng to His banner, and pledge Him for ever: “Thine would we be, and would serve Thee till death.” Spread ye His gospel -His truth faileth never: Tell of this Saviour, our Lord now and ever.
