Documental histórico de producción propia sobre la vida de los republicanos españoles en el campo de exterminio nazi. Más de 7.000 republicanos españoles perecieron en Mauthausen antes de su liberación el 5 de mayo de 1945 por las tropas aliadas. Los pocos supervivientes se juramentaron para que aquella masacre no quedara impune. Este trabajo es un homenaje a ese esfuerzo y a su memoria colectiva. Justo 67 años después de que el último campo del horror del Reich fuera liberado, TVE recupera este documental emitido en el año 2000 en tres capítulos.
