Mermaid Swimsuit Revolution with Elizabeth Taylor of Curvy Beach

from The Mermaid Podcast · host Laura von Holt + Cinderly

Not all mermaids have tails, but they do need swimsuits! Meet our friend and mermaid swimsuit designer, Elizabeth Taylor. Elizabeth moved to New York with big dreams and is now the designer and founder of Curvy Beach, a luxury swimwear company in sizes 0-26. After a Refinery 29 video about Curvy Beach went viral, Elizabeth’s life and business were completely changed. From actress to plus-size model to designer, Elizabeth shares her journey of becoming a designer who disrupts the industry daily by following one simple rule: Life is short. Love your body. Last summer, Curvy Beach released a limited edition of mermaid print bikinis, which immediately sold out. The 2019 mermaid print will be released on Friday, May 24 at 3pm EST and will be available in the classic Curvy Beach side tie, bandeau top, triangle tip, hi waist bottom and one-piece. Shop now before they sell out.
