Meet the third (human) body of water to join me on the Bodies of Water podcast, Mette Rosenberg Carlsen. Marine conservationist, dive instructor and professional mermaid. Describe your relationship to water and how it found you?  When I was very young, I started reading novels about whales and fell in love with them completely. David Attenborough's Blue Planet became my most watched tape and I started working towards dedicating my life to the natural world. However, I didn't realize my connection to the ocean until much later. When I started travelling, I found myself only going places that were close to the ocean. And the first time I put my feet in the Pacific ocean I was overwhelmed by a feeling of tranquilizing power and couldn't help but shed a tear - I have been actively seeking out that feeling ever since. What's one sustainability habit or action that you've adopted? Using as little water as possible, whether in the shower, brushing my teeth or any other daily activity Do you have a challenge for our listeners related to water wellness or sustainability? "Dance like nobody is watching" is my best suggestion, but do so under water, because nobody is actually watching and few experiences are more empowering and enjoyable. You can... Poet tells that the strength and the power of the tiger is behind the bars. If he would be free he may be hiding near water bodies and waiting for his food. Whereas in cage he could not move freely. At night he looks up in the sky with "Brilliant Stars and Brilliant Eyes" with sound of patrolling car. Amazing Animals Ryan Scarpulla Join me as we dive into the minds and bodies of tardigrades.
