Despite Israel’s prosperity and busy worship life, their injustice, greed, and complacency reveal empty religion. Through Amos, God warns that you cannot truly love Him while mistreating others, and He rejects worship that doesn’t flow into everyday obedience. Yet every warning is also an invitation: to “seek the Lord and live,” finding true restoration and hope ultimately fulfilled in Jesus.
