Psalm 46:10'He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” ' "There's a season where your presence speaks louder than your actions." That was Pastor Jeff Jackson's counsel to a missionary living on the field under quarantine. The missionary was under the stress of knowing that his presence in the foreign country was being underwritten by contributors back home who were also struggling through a time of quarantine and possible financial strain. Pastor Jeff talks about the promise of God's presence as He walks with us through this season. Jeff Talks about the Tower of Siloam: 'Now there were some present at that time who told Jesus about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices. Jesus answered, “Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans because they suffered this way? I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish. Or those eighteen who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them—do you think they were more guilty than all the others living in Jerusalem? I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.” ' Luke 13:1-5 This is the second half of a podcast about missionary reciprocity. This is a season when we can learn so much from missionaries. The Leadership Gap Level 7 Leadership Hi, we’re Laura and Jonathan, unorthodox leadership coaches and co-founders of Level 7 Leadership. We are so so so bored with the same old conversations about what it takes to be a great leader. Those conversations have gotten us to where we are, but won’t take us to where we need to go.That’s why we’re part of a movement committed to facilitating the emergence of a new kind of leader: one that is aware, embodied, fearless, connected and energized in their mission to build a world that works for everyone. And that’s exactly what we’re diving deep into on this podcast. Join us as we explore two riddles we’re absolutely obsessed with: “what the HECK is leadership?” and “what does it take to BE a highly effective leader?” - in our attempts to revisit and answer those questions, we will detail tools, tips and topics all in the name of bridging The Leadership Gap. This is not just another leadership podcast. Chaos, managed. Facilitating learning at home. Wayne Russell Parents have been at home with their children for several months. We are tired and burnt out. How can the chaos be managed, for the weeks and months ahead? We answer this question, one episode at a time. Helping families facilitate learning is the mission of this podcast.
