Fri Dec 31, 2010 Mister Ron’s Basement # 1839 We have found some pretty funny stuff by Wisconsin humorist, publisher, and politician, George W. Peck, from his 1884 collection ‘Peck’s Boss Book.’ This story was probably controversial in 1884 for completely different reasons than it might be considered so today.
