فایل‌های صوتی کلاس خوانش کتاب «فلسفه‌ی علوم اجتماعیِ» ماکس وبر؛ انجمن جامعه‌شناسی ایران؛ پاییز 96 در میان کلاسیک‌های جامعه‌شناسی ماکس وبر جدی‌تر از دیگران به «فلسفه‌»ی این علم نوظهور پرداخت. مداخلات او در فلسفه‌ی علوم اجتماعی را باید در زمینه‌ی تاریخی مناقشاتی فهمید که پیشتر، از اوایل دهه‌ی 1880، میانِ کارل مِنگر (پیشوای مکتب اتریشیِ اقصاد) و گوستاو اشمولر (مهمترین نماینده‌ی مکتب تاریخی آلمان در اقتصاد و حقوق) درگرفته بود و از آن، نظر به اهمیت تعیین‌کننده‌اش، به «نبرد روش‌‌ها» تعبیر می‌شد. محوری‌ترین پروبلماتیکِ «نبرد روش‌ها» بر گرد پرسش از جهانشمولیت یا نسبیت تاریخی خودِ علم‌الاجتماع می‌چرخید. منگر به علم جهانی فکر می‌کرد و اشمولر به علمی آلمانی. کم‌وبیش همزمانِ این بحث‌ها در متن سنت تازه‌جان‌گرفته‌ی نوکانتیسم نیز بحث‌هایی جدی در میان بود بر سر شرایط امکانِ تأسیس «علم روح» یا همان علوم انسانی و اجتماعی. از هرمان کوهِن، پل ناتورپ و ارنست کاسیرر در مکتب ماربورگ تا ویلهلم ویندلباند و هاینریش ریکرت در مکتب هایدلبرگ، بحث بر سر این بود که چگونه می‌توان از مجرای «بازگشت به کانت» به منطق علوم انسانی در مقام علومی مستقل از علوم طبیعی اندیشید. مباحث ماکس وبر در کتاب «فلسفه‌ی علوم اجتماعی» (که شامل مقالاتی است که وی در دو دهه‌ی اول قرن بیستم نگاشت) در حُکم مشارکت خلاقانه‌ی اوست در مناقشاتی که پیشتر، چه به اتکای «نبرد روش‌ها» و چه به میانجی نوکانتیسم، درگرفته بود. وبر ‌کوشید از مجرای گفتگوی انتقادی با این سنت‌های فکری راه جدیدی برای تثبیت علوم اجتماعی در پیش بگیرد. در فایل‌هایی که به مرور در اینجا منتشر خواهم کرد اهم مواضع وبر در «فلسفه‌ی علوم اجتماعی» را به تفصیل به بحث گذاشته‌ام.
