MOTIVES FOR GOD’S GENEROSITY

The word of God tells us that our wrong motives will keep us from receiving the generosity of God. Whenever we give of our finances or talents, we must be aware of our motives. Generosity must come from the heart not from the pressure of others or from poor motives. The word of God tells us that we must give our gifts in private, and our father, who sees everything, will reward us. When our motives are pure, we receive the pure, true generous gifts of God.
