This week my guest is Tim Healy, President/CEO of TackleBar Football, addressing the current crisis in youth football: an alarming 30% reduction in youth participation, with concussions and youth injuries at the center of the discussion. Parents are paying more attention, the numbers are declining, and it is affecting every level of football. TackleBar Football eliminates tackling while still maintaining contact. Players learn the fundamentals of the game while decreasing their chances of concussions and injuries at such a young age. It is sad to know that fewer boys will have this same opportunity to form their character and grow in virtue, perseverance, teamwork, brotherhood, and both mental and physical toughness.
