MultiDyne’s openGear cards simplify your 2110 or JPEG XS signal chain

from The openGear Video + Audio Podcast · host openGear

You can simplify your whole signal chain using MultiDyne’s openGear ecosystem. With the MDoG-6060 series 2110 gateway card, you can take SDI sources and move them directly onto either an ST 2110 or JPEG XS network. In the same openGear frame, you could install a SilverBack camera system connected to an OG-7800 series fiber transport card, which brings in 4 channels of 12G-SDI, 8x8 audio, Ethernet, sync, and serial data over a single fiber link. One or 2 slots over, an IP card can drop those signals straight onto the network. At ISE 2026, Matt Watkins from MultiDyne speaks with Simon Tillyer from KitPlus about how this workflow allows you to reduce cabling, simplify control, and streamline the path from camera to network. The MDoG-6060 series and OG-7800 series are popular with proAV customers, particularly houses of worship and enterprise production teams. Instead of racks of standalone converters and base stations, everything lives in one unified frame with openGear DashBoard control for centralized status and monitoring.Want to find out more about these 2110 or JPEG XS signal chain solutions?
