NECESITO UN VESTIDO

from ssl4you Learn Spanish · host teresa sanchez

“Un día es un día” Me dije I NEED A NEW DRESS My sister is going to get married next week and I needed a new dress for the wedding. I went to the shop I usually go when I need something special, it’s normally a bit more expensive than other shops but they know what fits me better. There were lots of new things, nice dresses in blue, black and multiple coloured skirts in all sizes, elegant trousers and shirts and t-shirts in all colours. I explained to the saleswoman I wanted something elegant and different and after checking that I was a medium size she showed me five nice dresses, two A-line skirts and some trousers. I don’t like to wear trousers in summer and I rejected them. I tried the skirts and the dresses on and after half an hour faffing I decided that I looked wonderful in that black body fitting dress. I closed my eyes upon the time to pay, gave her my Visa, signed the receipt and tried to forget the price before walking around the corner. “It’s only once in a life time” I told myself.
