On today's episode, host Louie Butko is joined by Hamilton Ward One City Councillor Maureen Wilson. Councillor Wilson was first elected in 2018 and won a second term in 2022 with the largest margin of victory amongst any council race taking 75% of the vote. In her time on council, she has served on many committees and sub-committees including the Audit, Finance and Administration & General Issues committee, Hamilton Board of Health, among others, as well as serving on the advisory committee for Immigrants and Refugees, the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender & Queer Advisory Committee and the Hamilton Centre for Civic Inclusion.
