NFL Week 4 - London Extravaganza! - Episode 41...

from North London 40 · host North London 40

It's been a truly amazing week in the best city in the world. The Vikings and Steelers took part in what turned into a really great game and we use the pod this week to break it all down. We welcome back one of our favourite guests, Jamie Cutteridge from @UKNFL and look back over the past week in the capital and celebrate how this has to have been the best International Series games to date. We catch up with M-O-M & general G.O.D Adrian Peterson & some of his fellow Vikings to get their take on being in London this week and as yesterday also saw the end of one of the greatest TV S shows of all time we had to chat Breaking Bad at the end, warning this comes with spoilers so if you don't want to know then peace out with 15 mins to go. Incredible week, it really was.

His girth gave rise to a famous anecdote. During World War I a lady in London asked why he was not 'out at the Front'; he replied, 'If you go round to the side, you will see that I am.' On another occasion he remarked to his friend George Bernard Shaw: "To look at you, anyone would think a famine had struck England". Shaw retorted, "To look at you, anyone would think you have caused it". P. G. Wodehouse once described a very loud crash as "a sound like Chesterton falling onto a sheet of tin."( Summary from Wikipedia ) What Works?
