NO LONGER SLAVES

Scripture: “So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; and since you are His child, God has made you also an heir.” – Galatians 4:7 (NIV) Devotional Message: In Christ, your identity has completely changed. You are no longer bound by sin, fear, guilt, or the opinions of others. Through His death and resurrection, Jesus broke the chains that once enslaved you and gave you the power to live as a free son or daughter of God. The enemy tries to deceive believers into living as though they are still bound—trapped in old habits, shame, or unworthiness. But when you remember who you are in Christ, freedom becomes your daily reality. You no longer serve sin; you walk in righteousness. You no longer carry guilt; you rest in grace. You are not a victim of your past; you are a victor through Christ’s love. Freedom doesn’t mean doing whatever you want—it means walking in who God made you to be, empowered by His Spirit. You are His heir, chosen and loved. Walk boldly in that truth today! Today, Ask Yourself: Am I living as a child of God or still thinking like a slave to my past and fears? Prayer: Almighty Father, thank You for setting me free through Jesus Christ. Help me to live daily in the confidence of my identity as Your child. Let every chain of fear and guilt be broken, and let me walk in the freedom of Your Spirit. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
