Thank you for listening to the newest episode of the That Law Life Podcast. I have 2 corrections— I said “stamina” when talking about the higher ranked law school…I meant “stigma.” I also mentioned that if you are considering a non-ABA law school you can’t let rumors or gossip mills deter you from the path you feel is best for you (I mentioned this when talking about bar results at the higher ranked law school). To clarify— most higher ranked law schools do in fact have a higher bar pass rate than non-ABA law schools. For example, in February 2024, for 1st time takers, the pass rate was 55.1% for graduates of a CA ABA law school and the pass rate was 35.3% from CA Accredited law schools. However, the Ventura Colleges of Law had a first time pass rate for February 2024 of 45.5% which is not that far behind the ABA pass rate. Still higher, but we are closing the gap.
