Obsidious sind aus der Band Obscura heraus entstanden - einige der Mitglieder verließen die Band, um ein neues Projekt zu gründen. Entstanden ist ein Technical-Death-Metal-Act, dessen technische Finesse durch einen unglaublich vielseitigen Sänger ergänzt wird. Bisher wurde mit 'Iconic' lediglich eine Single veröffentlicht, wir dürfen jedoch noch dieses Jahr mit einem weiteren Song rechnen, wie uns Bassist Linus Klausenitzer im Interview verrät. Außerdem erzählt er, wie Javi Perera zur Band kam, wie Songwriting und Aufnahmeprozesse ablaufen und dass die Band noch nie live zusammengekommen ist. Das wird sich hoffentlich bald ändern, denn Albumrelease und Tour werden hoffentlich bald schon verkündet.
