Oh no, we suck again (Ep. 73)

In case you are new around here, a quick update: the 2021 Orioles are not a good baseball team. But they have often managed to be a fun baseball team. Unfortunately, they failed to achieve even that modest standard over this past week, often playing like a club that was leagues away from their opposition.The starting pitching struggled, sure, but that’s par for the course for this group. What was truly shocking was how poor the defense behind those pitchers played. Stevie Wilkerson completely fell apart in Cleveland. Pedro Severino continues to have trouble simply catching the ball behind the plate. Heck, even Cedric Mullins made an error, and that guy has a shot at a Gold Glove.All the while, the Orioles were losing games. Their 16 straight defeats on the road are a club record, and yet somehow only the second-longest active streak (shout-out D-Backs).
