About Us
Hello there! We’re Von & Jay!
We’ve been enjoying life and growing together for 12 years now….by practicing a
healthier lifestyle mentally and spiritually, with patience, acceptance of who we are,
commitment, and plenty of self-care and MeTime….yes, “Metime” it’s important and it
actually works well in our marriage.
As we both share a passion for travel and continuously appreciate the natural wonders
of the outdoors together in this beautiful World….(that can sometimes seem very dark).
Our marriage is a blessing and a priority so we decided to make some unconventional
lifestyle changes and choices by living a minimalistic life on the road.
You are probably wondering…why are these two empty nest Gen-Xers, are choosing to
live in a Tiny house Van, although they have a conventional home?
Well, those who know us…are aware that Jay's work travels, rather it is domestically
or Internationally. He’s been a union electrician for over 23yrs on several exciting
projects…most recently on the military base of Wiesbaden Germany to Amazon
projects in America.
As for myself, I’ve been a relocation agent in the housing market of luxury homes,
condos and apartments in Las Vegas and Chicago for over 18yrs, with an, added
background in the Hotel Industry.
After several years of marriage, traveling together and apart…we decided life is too
short for regrets and starting over…” again”.
As most of us know marriage or any relationship is teamwork…so when we found
ourselves traveling for work in different places for long extended times it became
stressful, lonely, and frustrating.
So one day we decided to work travel together and build a DIY Tiny house Van, which
would provide not only an immense feeling of FREEDOM with a minimalistic
lifestyle…but, an entirely new journey…..TOGETHER.
