OVERCOMING PROCRASTINATION MINI SERIES - PART 1

Whether it's snapchatting instead of studying. Staring at the food in the fridge instead of researching for that essay. Watching one more episode on netflix rather than replying to that email or making that phone call for work; the list of ways we can procrastinate is endless!

Sometimes we even start cleaning the bathroom that we only cleaned yesterday or take the dog for a walk or do something that can actually still feel somewhat productive where you almost convince yourself 'oh I'm not procrastinating I'm still doing something I need to do'' - but the truth is if you're not doing what you SHOULD be and planned to be doing and need to be doing with that time, then you're procrastinating. Period.

No matter how much your wardrobe could do with a clean out, if you're doing that instead of writing more of your assignment due next friday, you're procrastinating!

So how do we stop the cycle of unproductivity that's causing us to fall behind on our goals?

That's what we'll be exploring in the next 2 episodes. This week's one explores the biggest mistake you're making with your to-do list which is causing you to procrastinate the most and how to change this so you create more RESULTS in your life in less time!

What A Word Symone Talks I am Symone D, Founder and CEO of “SymoneTalks,” an organization I began as a woman who suffered in my childhood from depression, along with suicidal thoughts and ideation. I felt bound by such feelings, but once I got over the hurdles and began being comfortable talking about it, I began providing myself and others permission to be vulnerable and transparent about not being okay and provide therapeutic healing through talking.Once I was comfortable talking about it, I struggled to find a space where women could come and simply “check-in”.Now as a mental health advocate I created the space What You Don't Know Yet What You Don't Know Yet You are not a great teacher.
