With the fall of the Ottoman Empire in 1918, Great Britain, France and Arab leaders created the countries of Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Jordan, and the recognition of a Jewish homeland in the Palestinian Region. America’s president, Woodrow Wilson didn’t join the League of Nations but declared a “Right of Self-Determination” in the formation of boundaries for new countries after World War I. The 1948 war founded the state of Israel. No one or no thing can own something forever. Creativity is the way to peace, not the production of weapons.
