Parenting can be so hard. Anyone who’s done it, knows that. Christina and Melissia talk in this episode about how parenting kids that have had significant trauma in their lives can leave the child with behaviors that are not typical of other children. Often self sabotaging their own wellbeing instead of accepting help and love from their parents. Melissia mentions the importance of healing for these kids before we can expect a great change in behavior or reactions. Christina talks about raising children that are not biologically hers and how that can have obstacles. They discuss how important it’s is that these kids be shown that they have worth and value, but often don’t believe it.  Many children have lost the feeling of hope. We as Christians need to remember that we serve the God of hope! Jesus saved us and offers us the greatest hope, that one day we will be in his arms. Raising kids with that hope is everything.

‭‭Romans‬ ‭15‬:‭13‬ ‭CSB‬‬
“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you believe so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
