Our special guest is Paria Hassouri, MD, a pediatrician, mother of three, transgender rights activist, and the author of Found in Transition; A Mother's Evolution During Her Child's Gender Change. A gifted writer, she is courageous and honest in her account of her feelings of denial and anger to not just acceptance but embracing her daughter's transition. Despite the fear of maybe 'getting some things wrong,' she was moved to share the truth of their story after hearing other families going through the same experience share theirs.
