Diagnosed at the age of 49, Mandy chose to forego chemotherapy against her doctor's wishes, but did receive radiation and life altering surgery in February of 2018. With the help of a nutritional coach and a naturopathic doctor, she got her mind and body as healthy as possible before having her internal plumbing rerouted. Ironically, the show and its mission have also been rerouted. With all that is going on in the world today, both in and out of the political arena, it is becoming evermore clear that life can be upended thus rerouting your path to places you never imagined.
