Dr Alessia Bruno is a Clinical and Sport Psychologist, EMDR Europe and Brainspotting Consultant, Trainer, and Performance Coach. She speaks at major international and European congresses, lectures at national sport events, and leads accredited courses. An expert in trauma and performance, Dr Alessia Bruno works internationally with young people and adults.

Today’s episode is one I’m excited about because our guest isn’t just an accomplished clinical psychologist, but also a close friend whose work always sparks new ideas. Fresh from presenting at the Hong Kong Performance and Sport Psychology World Congress, Alessia brings a unique blend of expertise and creativity to our conversation.

We’ll dive into innovative ways of understanding ourselves, exploring how stories shape both mind and body, and why all of life can be seen as performance—not just the big moments, but the everyday ones too. Our guest encourages us to expand our sense of self, connecting with others, our ancestors, and embracing the interconnectivity of all things.

We’ll also unpack Brainspotting—a fascinating technique for unlocking deep issues, rooted in neurobiology and designed to help us grow and heal. If you’re curious about these approaches to performance or interested in training, our guest is happy to connect and share more.

Awe in All Kate Landis Allergic to meditation? Too busy for bliss? Kate Landis can help you find wow moments in the chaos. Living in Awe Denny Mayer Living in awe is a choice. Like being present or living in the proverbial "now." It's not only about the big things in life that create a sense of awe, but the small things as well. The everyday things, any moment when we are truly present in our lives. One can find awe in something as simple as a crack in the concrete as they can in a majestic sunset. As it has been said, "if you are not in awe, you are not paying attention." In this podcast series Denny Mayer interviews people from all walks of life, celebrities, world leaders, scientists, and your average "Joe or Doris Doakes," as they explore what it means to live in awe. The Daily Grace Podcast The Daily Grace Co. The Daily Grace Podcast exists to encourage and equip women to seek God in His Word. Our goal is for women to know that deep Bible study, sound doctrine, and rich theology are not just for the seminary student or pastor, but are accessible and transformational for all believers. We want to invite women to join us in our conversation about our great God, and be encouraged to seek a deeper knowledge of God that leads them to live their lives for God glory as they grow in love and awe in response to who He is.The Daily Grace Podcast is a weekly podcast brought to you by The Daily Grace Co. The Key of Imagination: A Twilight Zone show with Joe Meyer Dr. Joe Meyer The Key of Imagination is dedicated to Rod Serling's masterpiece: The Twilight Zone. But, our podcast will be a little different than other Twilight Zone shows you might have listened to. Research has shown that experiencing awe leads to fuller, more meaningful connections with humanity; it can help push back against depression; and it can improve one's sense of well-being. I've been using the Twilight Zone in my college classrooms for over 20 years for this very purpose. We're going to look for the awe in each episode. Join us, and see the Twilight Zone in a new way with me, Dr. Joe Meyer.
