Nearly six years ago, he was at the lowest point he's ever been in his life. Angry, confused, heartbroken and alone. HE was on the floor of my Motel 6 room telling himself that he didn’t need to get up if I didn't want to. Around this time, he also asked his then wife for a divorce because he realized that they had drifted apart and their situation, despite 18 months of couples therapy , was beyond repair.  As a result, he lost many of my close friends, disconnected from most of the people in my family and without the regular access ..
