I was scared that I’d lose my feelings of connection with friends and family and that all the fun would drain out of my life. Where I am now:  Today, alcohol is irrelevant in my life. I have a stable core of joy and peace which gives me strength even when some days don’t go well. I’ve regained my spark, my spirit of adventure, and my love of life.
