Prayer can be incredibly powerful. Prayer is how we receive salvation from God through Jesus Christ. If we openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that God raised him from the dead, we will be saved. Prayer helps us build a relationship with God. Before growing close we must get comfortable. Praying to God allows us to grow more comfortable with Him. The more comfortable we get, the easier it becomes to bring tough issues to God. Not every prayer has to have some grand purpose or desired outcome. Prayer is where we see life change even in the mundane. When we become persistent in our prayers we start becoming more consistent.
